Ayudas a la formación y difusión exterior de la cultura

En la sociedad del conocimiento, la formación de jóvenes profesionales del sector cultural constituye un factor esencial para su competitividad, crecimiento, empleo e internacionalización. Para promover esta formación, el Ministerio gestiona programas de ayudas y becas destinados a la especialización en diversos ámbitos culturales, dirigidos tanto a ciudadanos españoles como a aquellos de países iberoamericanos.

In the knowledge society, the training of young professionals in the cultural sector is key to ensuring competitiveness, growth, jobs and internationalisation. At the same time, the dissemination of Spanish language and culture in educational institutions, particularly foreign universities, is an essential part of their promotion abroad.

To facilitate this training, the Office for Cultural Promotion Abroad organises grant and scholarship programmes open to Spanish citizens and citizens from other Ibero-American countries for training specialists in different cultural fields. It also carries out activities to help Spanish artists and creators to increase their level of specialisation abroad at institutions of excellence in the United States and at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, which awards grants for Spanish plastic arts.

Programmes for culture professionals from Ibero-America. This programme includes two types of aid:

• Programa IBEREX de prácticas formativas para jóvenes profesionales iberoamericanos del sector cultural
• ENDESA cultural heritage grants for Latin America

Fulbright scholarships and stays for artists.12-month scholarships of excellence for extending artistic and cultural management studies in the United States as part of the Fulbright Hispanic-North American Commission programme. The grants for the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam enable Spanish artists to develop their professional career at this international centre.
